McCoy would like to invite you to join him to honor distinguished Veterans Brooke Leavitt, Alan MacQuoid, Hon. Bernard J. Malone, Jr. and Charles Reed.</strong></span></p><p style="margin-left: 40px;"><strong><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Brooke Leavitt</span> </strong>is a Veteran who currently serves in the Army National Guard as a Master Sergeant. She was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She is currently serving as the Acting First Sergeant for the Headquarters &amp; Headquarters Detachment in Latham, New York.</p><p style="margin-left: 40px;"><strong><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Alan MacQuoid</span></strong> is a Veteran who served in the United States Navy as Captain in the Tenth Fleet. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan during Operation Desert Shield/Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He’s also served during Operations Southern Watch &amp; Noble Eagle. After his 30 year service, he worked as a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton where he lead a team of cyber and wargaming professionals in the defense and security arenas.</p><p style="margin-left: 40px;"><strong><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Bernard J. Malone, Jr. </span></strong>is a Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant with the 5th Infantry Division and awarded the Bronze Star. After his service, he became the Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of New York and then a trial level New York State Supreme Court Justice.</p><p style="margin-left: 40px;"><strong><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Charles Reed</span></strong> is a Veteran who served in the United States Navy as a Storekeeper Third Class onboard the USS Holder. He enlisted at the age of 17 and was responsible for keeping files, managing the books and creating the ships menu onboard the USS Remy, a WWII destroyer. Serving on the USS Holder, he was responsible for handing 40mm shells to the Gunner’s Mate.
