If you would like to participate in person:
- You must pre-register with the Clerk (see below).
- County residents will be taken first.
- Speakers may be allowed up to five minutes to express their views.
Pre-registration closes at 12 Noon on the day of the hearing.
Please send an email to publichearings@albanycountyny.gov with the following information:
- Your name, address and phone number
Your name and municipality will be made public (e.g., "Jane Doe, Cohoes, NY"), the rest of your information will remain private. - The Public Hearing you would like to speak at and a statement you would like read in lieu of formal participation.
- You may sign up for multiple Public Hearings, if time allows.
- Please limit the length any written statements to allow for the participation of others.
- All written statements will be given to members, regardless of length.
As always, you can address any subject with the Legislature by regular mail sent to the Clerk of the Legislature, Harold L. Joyce Albany County Office Building, 112 State Street, Suite 710, Albany, NY 12207 or by email to necole.chambers@albanycountyny.gov.
